You are doing too good a job, by getting us all into well organised events that are pushing the limits, the next stage after a couple of years is to bugger off and do an international event.
So I think we need to actively encourage the next wave of Rally enthusiasts to replace the hard core who are now starting to head overseas.
And of course once you have done an international rally a) you want to do it again and b) one overseas rally can cost the same as a whole season of UK racing, limiting your ability to support the series.
That’s certainly my case, where after the Tuareg I’m having to be a bit selective with what I events I do this year, whereas in the past I could pretty much afford to race the whole ATRC.
As we are forever telling people: once you’ve tried it Rally just gets addictive!
I must’ve read the thing wrong at the start of the year. Thought it said 3 day road book event but it does say incorporating the atrc. Apologies there dudes but a 2 day road book isn’t out of the question is it ?
