Might be worth an email to Rainer but to be honest it’s not much different from what was previously on the https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/morocco The only addition seems to be the comment about the raised level of terrorist threat globally. However that is no different to here in the UK and the reason our threat level was raised to Severe recently.

Latest update: Terrorism section – there is a heightened threat of terrorist attack globally
Over 400,000 British nationals visit Morocco every year. Most visits are trouble-free.
There is a general threat from terrorism. The Moroccan authorities have warned of an increased threat linked to the number of Moroccans belonging to international terrorist organisations operating in Syria and Iraq. See Terrorism
There have been some demonstrations in various locations across the country. Most of these have been peaceful. See Political situation.
In 2010 a number of foreigners, including British nationals, were expelled from Morocco for alleged proselytising. See Local laws and customs
Morocco has a poor road safety record. See Road travel

Hiya if anybody is interested I have a satphone and valid sim for Africa with at least 250 minutes of credit left on it.
I’m happy to sell the sim card for whatever the value of remaining credits and lend you the phone for free (with deposit)
I Also have a spot tracker too with no sub but that’s available for £40 to buY.
I’m out and about just now but will be home tomorrow so send me a message if your interested as this stuff would be ideal for the tuareg, I had it all for the Budapest to bamako rally in January and it was great to have.
I realise this probably should be in for sale section but I think it’s more useful to you lit heading to Morocco in march.

Spot Trackers have been made compulsory for this year’s Tuareg (they were only recommended in the past). I already have one (it’s my mechanic John’s that I’ll be borrowing). Apparently it also allows me to tether my mobile phone and effectively get “sat phone” connection using the prepaid account. I didn’t even know it could do this.
So thanks for the offer, maybe someone else will be interested, there’s a few of us going this year.

No worries, they do allow you to send text messages via the bluetooth connection, I actually used a delorme tracker I was sponsored but had already bought the spot but they are very similar, great pieces of kit though really kept my wife’s mind at ease.
Have fun out there I’ll have a go at it in a couple of years I tenon after recovering from the cost of this year’s rally.
