The results are in for the 2025 Ice Breaker Challenge!
For the three months of winter, IBC participants were given six digital roadbook routes throughout the UK to complete in their own time. The weather was harsh, the days were short, but still, the brave persisted and we have some incredible figures to announce!
✅ 155 riders completed 529 routes!
✅ 22 riders earned ‘mission accomplished’ (3 or more routes completed)
✅ 42 riders earned an ‘Ice Man Yeti’ hoodie (all 6 routes completed)
Congratulations to Simon Gergun, the top Ice Man Yeti who scored just 6 penalty points over 6 routes!
Also well done to Dave Thorpe – 9 points overall – and Daniel Newby-Ricci – 9 points overall.

All riders have performed fantastically and there a fair few of you out there who are getting really good at roadbook navigation – even with our new PNZ tricks.
Don’t worry, we already have plans for more complex and challenging navigation.
