ADVENTURE RALLY RAIDS
AS A RALLYMOTO MEMBER YOU CAN JOIN OUR ADVENTURE RALLY RAIDS,
*PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS ‘ADVENTURE CANNONBALLS’
with the club providing adventure style roadbooks and roadbook holders, we can provide help and training for all members.
Distance can be anywhere from 150km to 500km in length using green lanes and public highways. These are generally held about once a month depending on what other events are going on.
These are friendly, fun, non competitive events, with the tracking system being utilised for safety only.
Occsasionally we run ‘Extreme’ Adventure Rally Raids, whereby the terrain has some tougher sections, and. may be more appealling for enduro bike riders. Skills riding off road on a big bike are reccommended for the Extreme Adventure Rally Raids.

THE FORMAT
The format of each Adventure Rally Raid is the same:-
- 09:00 Meet at a pre-determined location
- Pick up your roadbook, roadbook holder ( the club has over 100 for hire!) and tracker
- Set up
- Attend the short briefing for the day
- 10:00 Ride for 150 – 200km per day – maybe further on the bigger adventures.
- 16:00 All Finished
Get together at the end of the day and talk about the day’s highlights.
ROADBOOK TRAINING
Roadbook training is all about understanding the roadbook, then getting out there and giving it a go.
for 2023, we have combined our roadbook training with an Adventure Rally Raid.
What happens on the day:
- Sign up registration, equipment and GPS tracker.
- Brief training session – approx 20 mins
- Ride the Adventure Rally Raid Course
