ROUND 3 OF THE RALLYMOTO CUP UK ROADBOOK SERIES

Ride in Adventure Class for your choice to be a ‘Zero Hero’ or enter in Rally Class to be part of the RallyMoto Cup UK Roadbook Series. Both classes will include a night stage so everyone can experience riding through the remote wilderness of Kielder Forest in the dark.

There’s nothing quite as exhilarating as roadbooking in the dark, so let’s go!

The AS Dark Skies Rally Kielder is an Adventure Rally taking place over two days. Depending on the class you enter will depend on the level of challenge.

Adventure Class
Saturday course – 10am – 4pm & 6pm – 8pm – Night Stage
Sunday course – 10am – 4pm
Easier going terrain, which is similar to the Kielder 500. Now includes a night stage!
(Adventure Bike).
Rally Class
Saturday Course – 10am – 4pm & 6pm – 11pm – Night Stage
Sunday Course – 10am – 4pm
Harder terrain and tougher navigation plus the additional longer night stage.
(No restriction on bike size)

RallyMoto and Forestry England have worked together to create this special motorcycle event.

Safety first
All riders will be tracked using RallyMoto’s precision GPS tracking system, firstly for safety, and secondly, for accuracy of navigation and adherence to speed limits on the roadbook.

Navigation of the course will be 100% roadbook with set places for checkpoints and scheduled breaks. The roadbook will be written in a more rally orientated style.

ACCOMMODATION

For 2023, camping will need to be booked directly with Brown Rigg Lodges.

PLEASE NOTE: The guest rooms and lodge accommodation at Brown Rigg Lodges has been reserved for Dark Skies Rally Kielder riders and crew.

If you search for Brown Rigg accommodation on the internet, the site shows “no accommodation available” – this is because RallyMoto has booked the entire venue for the event – CONTACT BROWN RIGG DIRECTLY – 01434 220390 or email [email protected].

Camping is also to be booked and paid, directly, with Brown Rigg and is NOT included in the entry fee for 2023. Food for the Sunday evening can also be booked here as well.

A bar will be available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening at the venue.

Awards

The Dark Skies Rally is the 3rd event in the RallyMoto Cup Roadbook series and will be run as a full competitive event with timed stages and penalty scoring system. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the cup.

All riders who complete the Adventure Rally and get zero penalty points will be awarded a ‘Zero Hero’ prize.

Event entries are limited to 180.
