March seems along time ago now and a break of almost three months is unbelievable in the 2017 ATRC calendar. Here are the results for the Brechfa Rally.
James Ford took the overall win and the maximum 20 points for round one. Nigel Beaumont came in second, with the ever present Dave Leach on the trusty TM in third. The Rally Lite 2 riders took the first four places in the overall standings so they are the boys to beat.
There is everything to fight for in the overall class as the winner is awarded a FREE entry to the Tour of Portugal Rally in 2018.
In the Big Bike” single class over 575cc there were only 3 runners, so all riders had a chance at score good points in round one. Mark Kinnard took the class win with Adrian Middleton and Andy Shaw following him home.
Rob Loupart took the Rally Class by storm by picking up the 20 points – with only one rally bike racing he had it in the bag but still managed a 6th place in the overall standings so he wasn’t hanging about.
Again in the Trail and Multi Class, Hayden Rushton brought it home and picked up the 20 points.
The Rally Lite 1 class was a different story with 12 riders competing for the points. Mike Wells brought home the win after a successful campaign in 2017, winning the Rally Class outright. Roger Hicks was second and Iain dais came in third.
The big hitters in the Rally Lite 2 class are the fast boys here the results were the same as the overall class with James Ford taking the class win and Nigel Beaumont and Dave Leach coming in second and third respectively.
