The Blazing Saddles Challenge is now done and dusted for another year!
RallyMoto members across the UK have been putting in massive distances since the event kicked off on June 1st. From technical trails to scenic countryside tracks, riders put their navigation skills tot he test in the battle to earn the fewest points and ride as many routes as they could.
Overview and key stats:
The dedication across the RallyMoto community has been outstanding this season. The numbers speak for themselves:
- Total Distance Navigated: Since June 1st, riders have completed an impressive 341 routes, covering 51,150kms of roadbook navigation.
- 12 riders have won the DUST DEVIL Hoodie by completing 8 or more routes.
- 30 riders have earned their ‘MISSION ACCOMPLISHED’ Tshirt by completing 4 or more routes.
TOP ROUTES COMPLETED LEADERS
Barry Manning was the only rider to complete all 11 routes with an impressive 62 points in total.
Jeff Dack followed closely behind with 10 routes completed (47 total points).
Paul Evans holds 3rd place with 9 routes completed. (45 total points).
Riders navigated roadbooks across some of the finest terrain in the UK. Featured routes in this year’s challenge included:

- Wessex Downs
- New Forest
- Peaks
- Kent
- Lakes
- N. Yorks
- Ragley Hall (ABR)

As promised, the top navigators from the challenge will be invited to take part in a final ‘Rally-Off’, showdown event at Salisbury Plain on September 27th.
