The summertime roadbook navigation challenge returns for 2026!
NINE ROUTES, THREE MONTHS, ONE MASSIVE ADVENTURE!
Each circular roadbook route starts and finishes at a biker friendly cafe, as well as take you on a journey of discovery along the best, scenic, flowing riding roads you never knew existed.

ENTRY FEE: £99.00
Digital roadbook routes will be around 150 – 160km and available on the digital app.

Stage 7 – Newbury

Stage 9 – Stow-on-the-Wold
Stage 10 – Peak District – HD9 2RD
Stage 11 – Lakes District – CA12 5PP
All roadbooks are graded as EASY to comprehend.
Remember: You must be a Tarmac or Full RallyMoto member to enter the events.
The Challenge is on!
- You are to ride 4 roadbook routes out of 9 from around the UK.
- Completing 4 routes correctly means you will qualify for the Cannonball Road Rally Mission Accomplished T-shirt.
- Complete all 9 routes for an special ‘Cannonball Road Rally Challenge’ award.
- You will need to be a RallyMoto Tarmac member to take part in the Cannonball Road Rally Challenge.
- YOU choose what route you ride, when you ride and who you ride with.
- Each route will have it’s own online leaderboard.
- Overall leaderboard updated weekly.
- Results scored on a ‘Zero Hero’ basis. Ride as accurately as possible to score the fewest penalty points!

What type of bike can I use for the Cannonball Road Rally Challenge?
On our RallyMoto Challenge events we do not restrict the type of bike you can use. Routes are graded and created to be Big Bike friendly – but you can ride any bike you want to.
Do I need my own roadbook holder?
No. All you need is a suitable phone or tablet. More info here: https://rallymoto.co.uk/digital-app-specification/
What if I breakdown?
Due to the nature of this event – you are on your own. It maybe good to ride in a small group or in pairs.
Will I need off-road tyres?
This is a tarmac only event so any road legal tyre is fine.
Can I ride with my mates?
Yes, the Blazing Saddles Challenge can be a solo or a group effort with participants riding together.
