'BIVOUAC TO BIVOUAC' style events offering a real big bike challenge

Think ‘Marathon Adventure Cannonball’.  The Challenge events are a step up from the cannonballs in terms of distance.  Mental endurance will be put to the test!

The courses are designed for “BIG BIKES” – which should ideally be 600cc plus motorcycles.

Riders results are assessed by accuracy of navigation as opposed to how quickly the course is completed thanks to our precision tracking system.

The format of each Challenge event is the same:-

  • Meet at a pre-determined location
  • Pick up your roadbook and roadbook holder ( the club has over 100 for hire!) and GPS tracker.
  • Set up
  • Attend the short briefing for the day
  • Ride for 300 – 500km per day – maybe further on the overseas adventures.
  • Be sure to check in at the pre determined check points along the route.
  • Arrive at the final destination, hand back the equipment and roadbook and acknowledge your acheivments!

Roadbook:  12cm wide, Black and White
Navigation: Easy
Terrain: Green Amber/ Amber
Tracking: Safety tracking and navigation and speed restrictions on some Challenges

Suitability: Big Bikes but no restriction on type of bike.

The Challenge and Safety

All riders taking part in the “Challenge” will be tracked using RallyMoto’s new precision GPS tracking system, firstly for safety and to confirm the route taken and the time for the challenge.
You will need to fit a GPS Tracker power lead to your bike so we can use the new RallyMoto Tracking System. We will supply the power lead to you – this is then yours to fit and keep for any future RallyMoto events that may use our tracking system. THE GPS unit needs a 12V power supply and a USB power connection is NOT suitable.
