A FULL WEEKEND EXPLORING THE VERY BEST BITS OF WALES AND EXPERIENCING THE JOY OF RALLYING!

You don’t need to be an enduro rider or even have knobbly tyres to ride a roadbook rally. The Discovery Rally of Wales allows road-only riders to enjoy learning to navigate using a digital roadbook, at the same time discovering the best ‘off the beaten track’ routes and destinations throughout mid Wales.

The Discovery Rally of Wales 2025 has been created for riders who want to run on standard tyres and have the full “rally navigation” experience using the RallyMoto Digital Roadbook App. The route will take you along the roads less travelled in central Wales on a voyage of Discovery. You will need to “hit” all the waypoints en route and take care to follow the rally roadbook instructions precisely.

The atmosphere in the Rally Bivouac in Llandovery will be relaxed and very socialable – camping is on site.

WHAT’S ON?

Saturday 26th July:

START for the two day event
Choose a remote start point to suit you
Get logged onto the system and follow the roadbook to the event
Arrive at the Bivouac on Saturday evening
Check in at the Registration Point
Evening meal, beer and talks by our guest speakers
Browse the ‘bivouac’ where professionals from the Adventure/ Rally business will be on display.
Enjoy the evening’s entertainment!

SUNDAY 27th July:

Ride all day on the finest paved riding roads in mid Wales! Discover the very best back routes and ‘off the beaten track’ areas, complete with pit stops at iconic destinations, all written into the roadbook.

ONE DAY ENTRY AVAILABLE – just ride the Sunday route.

WHY ROADBOOK NAVIGATION?

If you’re an adventure rider looking for more ways to have adventures then this is a fantastic opportunity to learn something new that takes you to places you’d never even know existed!
Roadbook navigation is an addictive pastime that keeps you engaged, offers a new fun challenge, and allows you more opportunities to get out on your bike!
One you’ve learnt the skill of roabook navigation (and it isn’t hard!), you’ll be able to enter numerous events throughout the year and join our remote, digital challenges.

THE DIGITAL ROADBOOK

Riders will be able to access the route via the RallyMoto App which will become available to download in the final week before the event.

To use the app you will need an android tablet (Version 8 or above) or an Android smart phone with a Data/SMS SIM card installed, this is to enable the precision tracking system to function.

A limited number of hire units complete with ball mount and thumb controller will be available to rent for the event.

THE VENUE

Llandovery Rugby Club, Church Street, Llandovery.

This will be the location of the main bivouac where registration, training, guest speakers, food and drink will be provided.

ACCOMMODATION

Camping is available on site and can be paid as an additional item when purchasing your ticket to the event.

There is additional accommodation in the nearby town of Llandovery.
