I have a shock reworked by Dr shoxs and lengthened to 288mm.
Only just done.
I have just picked up a pre owned tractive though. So no longer needed.
Good clean shock. Far better than it was standard.
£300 ono including uk mainland delivery.27/03/2018 at 7:30 am #73538
I have a rally raid setup on mine. The shock was revealed for the bike but I didn’t get a new spring as I picked up the tractive before it returned from the doc.
The spring will also depend on your weight. My new one has a 95n which although on the firm side seems right.
Open to offers of course.
Nice kit, what rally are you doing?27/03/2018 at 1:57 pm #73536
Hi I’m new to the forum, doing my first rally in a couple months. I might be interested in your shock as it may be easier than getting my shock re done.
How heavy are you and dose your bike have extra tanks screen nav tower etc. I’m guessing the shock was valved and sprung for your and your bikes weight.
My bike is a 2017 enduro r with a kit690 conversion on it (probably an extra 30kg when fully fuelled).

Thanks I think so. The kit fitted really well and seems quality two fuel pumps etc. I guess I need to race it to know how good it really is.
I’m signed up to do the Wales 500. I haven’t ridden Off road for about 7years so though I’d start off easy and get some miles under my belt.
What year is your shock?
So does your shock have the standard spring on it?
I’m 6ft2in & 95kg+gear and I find the stock 250mm shock and spring a bit soft.
I’ve managed to source some 2008 but almost unused factory 690 rally forks. But I need to sort a shock or get mine re-worked. Very interested in your shock.27/03/2018 at 7:45 pm #73544
I think it is one of the top kits available at the moment, along with the basel kit.
That’s good your getting back into it, the 690s a challenging ride on the tighter single track stuff, but so much fun on the more open bits.
The shock I’m selling came from a 2009-2011 r model with 275mm travel as standard. I hunted for ages to find a shock to extend, the 275mm ones are like hens teeth. Probably because they can go out to around 290mm. The 250mm travel shocks can only go out to maybe 265mm.
Standard spongy spring on it at the moment. I’m 75kg and would have fitted a stronger spring to it before serious use. I know that 95n/mm ones are available from rally raid, probably elsewhere too.
Interesting forks, do they fit straight on?
I’ll p.m. you my number, give me a call and we can sort something out.
