Interested in this event, would a 690R be eligible at a manufactures specified weight of 143 kg dry ? Appreciate this must be on the cusp when fueled etc, but want to ensure this is within the spirit of the event. Thanks in advance.
The KTM 690 and Husqvarna 701 are both OK for this event. We will even have a special class for the CCM GP450.
As you say, the bike has to suit the “spirit of the event”, which is adventure riding and exploring.
Many thanks Burt, I will register my interest for a team and hope to get a feel for the road book if you run the road book capers event from Torque. All the best.
Sounds great 🙂
Got a couple of mates thinking about doing this, any idea what the rough cost will work out at and is it members only?
Working out costs now kind of expect it to be in the £100 to £125 region for a two day event – all depends whether we include an evening meal in the ticket price.
The event will be open to everyone – of course RallyMoto members will get a better price.
Hi Burt ,
Roadbook open to quads ?
Quads maybe difficult – there is a lot of roadwork involved – so it may not be the best format for a Quad.
I’m one of Andy K mates
Ive signed up & joined RallyMoto Looking forward to it
Welcome – Great to have you onboard Si
Thanks, New to all this, but eager! lol
Andy will keep you on the straight and narrow
Welcome Si, I warn you, this navigation stuff is addictive 😉
A meeting with beer in the Bugle perhaps??
Sounds like a plan matey!
I doubt that lol
Is there an option for a one man team for this. Would love to have a go but a Billy no mates when it
Comes to big bikes and wouldn’t want to hold anyone up if made up a team on the day.
