This year, more women than ever before have signed up for the Ice Breaker Challenge, marking a significant milestone for our community. This is fantastic as it aligns with our mission to encourage and support women in Adventure Rallying, sport that embraces everyone, no matter your skill level or experience with roadbook navigation.
Despite female riders being significantly outnumbered by the blokes on our Adventure Rally events, we are extremely happy to see more women stepping up to the challenge. To honour this milestone, we are offering a special reward to all women who successfully complete all eight Ice Breaker routes – a unique ‘Ice Girl Yeti’ hoodie.
If you are a woman who has entered the Ice Breaker Challenge, is contemplating participating, or is simply curious about roadbook navigation, we would love to hear from you. We are eager to connect you with other female riders who share your passion.
There is a growing community of women riders who’ve come together to form a dedicated and ever-expanding WhatsApp group. This group is a space for support, collaboration, and camaraderie, where members can share tips, plan logistics for the Ice Breaker routes, arrange accommodation, and coordinate travel across the UK.
So, whether you’re a seasoned rider or a complete novice, don’t hesitate to join this network.
