Remember to delete ALL old versions of the app off your device prior to loading the new app.
What you should know about the new app
- Download from GooglePlay – this will be the only app you need for RallyMoto events moving forwards
- You should delete all old apps from your device and load the new app
- New app has auto registration for GPS – no need to wait for us to confirm “LIVE” status
- APP has auto route start, so you just need to use the Red button to “REGISTER FOR THE ROUTE” and the rest is automatic.
- No passwords on Rides and Challenges
- Better landscape layout with bigger roadbook area for ease of reading.
- Instant results on finishing every route.
- Live and instant leaderboard for each route.
- All updates are now via GooglePlay
New Sections in APP
There are multiple sections in the app as follows to cover off all your needs for doing RallyMoto events. The new app is FREE for members who want to take part in ARR’s, 500’s and Dark Skies.
THere is a subscription element to the app if members want access to two new practice roadbooks per month – starting July and to take part in remote Challenges, like Ice Breaker, Blazing Saddles and the Cannonball Cafe Challenge.
In short this means we are ar ble to do a lot more witht he app and run a number of events and challenges simultaneously enabling you to get out on your bike and having roadbook adventures.
We will be introducing a number of Portuguese Adventure Rally routes over the summer – we will keep you posted.
FREE AREAS IN APP
- SAMPLE: Just a fictitious sample roadbook so you check the app functions correctly and your controller works with a roadbook.
- EVENTS: Free access to the app for RallyMoto events. Passwords for roadbooks will be available at sign on for these events. E.g. Kielder 500, Dark Skies, ARR’s and Tour of Portugal.
SUBSCRIPTION AREAS IN APP (£19.99 per annum)
- RIDES: 2 practice routes per month made available to subscribers of the app. Access to 24 routes per annum.
- CHALLENGES: Access to remote challenges, such as Ice Breaker, Blazing Saddles, Cannonball Cafe Challenge, Coast 2 Coast and Tour of Wales – an additional fee applies per Challenge in addition to the subscription, this replaces the normal entry fee.
PRIVATE / TEST AREA IN APP
- TEAM: A private area for the route testing team when checking or setting up new routes.

We have been talking to a number of RallyMoto members about the readability of roadbooks on a mobile device. A fair few of you are asking if you can do events and challenges using a mobile phone rather than a tablet.
Up until now the roadbook on some phones has been too small but RallyMoto has worked on this and made the roadbook larger and more readabable on a smart phone.
The new layout also works on the tablet for a really big roadbook.
