RallyMoto GPS Power Lead Fitting Guide

RallyMoto has developed its own GPS tracker system and invested in very high accuracy tracking devices to determine the accuracy of the course ridden by a rider and to improve safety for our events, which usually take place over long distances and in remote terrain.

All members will be provided with a GPS tracker power lead for RallyMoto events, this is your lead to keep and fit as you require.

GPS tracking will become a standard part of what we do, whether it is Adventure Cannonball ride outs or on our large events.

Fitting your GPS power lead

• The GPS power lead must have a 12V power supply from your bike, whether the ignition is on or off.
• The lead should be fitted directly to the battery if possible  (the red wire is the + connection) – you may wish to add an in-line fuse to the GPS power lead.
• DO NOT CONNECT TO A USB POWER SUPPLY – this is only a 5V output and will not power the GPS tracker
• The cable should then be routed through to the handle bar area, where the water-proof SuperSeal connector should be easily accessible allowing the organisation team to simply connect your GPS tracker and cable tie it to the handle bars or loosely to the cables.
