Results for ARR Cotswolds, 25 January 2026
We ran an ARR Cotswolds on Sunday and managaed to dodge the weather, we even had a bit of sunshine during the day. For the first time we had two routes in place for the riders, one a mix of off road trails and back roads, the other a 100% tarmac route – with both routes being enjoyed by the riders,
Even though the riders get their results as they come over this line and pick up their awards, we also publish the results, and they are listed below for each class:
Congratulations go to Antonio Molnar. Even though John Wright and Alan Maguire scored less points, they are Ambassadors for RallyMoto, Hence Antonio achieved the best score for the Off road route on the day,
Congratulations to Chris Ladkin for a perfect score, Jeff Dack also scored ZERO points but again he is an Ambassador for RallyMoto – so Chris was the best rider on the day.
The off road route was 145km with a real mix of terrain from back roads to rock sections, a few ruts, and because of the weather there was some mud, which in the Cotswolds is a bit “claggy” and sticky. All the participants managed to navigate the route, which included 24 waypoints and multiple speed zones. As per our ZERO HERO scoring the entire length of the course is a Precise Navigation Zone (PNZ) from the Start Navigation point in the roadbook to the end of the route – so navigation is key to the event.
The tarmac route was a completely different route to the off road, consisting of 125km of lesser used back roads. The tarmac route was no less of a challenge, if fact it may of been a tougher navigation route due to the 25 waypoints and numerous speed zones. The same PNZ rules applied to the tarmac route which added to the challenge.
It looks like the format of running an offroad and tarmac route was popular, so we will try to do this at all Adventure Rally Raids in 2026.
