The Ice Breaker “Rally Off” brings us the Supreme Yeti for 2026

After 3 months of tough roadbook navigating through the winter we had our final 15 riders for the “Rally Off”. These riders are the top navigators, with the lowest scores from the three month long Ice Breaker Challenge – the creme de la creme.

The scene was set, the digital roadbooks and waypoints had been checked, the 127km route pre-run and we were ready to roll. The 15 riders assembled at the Choppers Cafe on a sunny but cold morning, just outside Burbage and the event began:3 -2 – 1 Go! RallyMoto had set a tougher challenge than usual for these elite riders, the terrain was tougher and so was the navigation, which included a fair amount of CAP and some tricky navigation for the riders.

It did prove to be more of a challenge for some of the riders and no-one scored Zero points. This was definitely a step up in terms of difficulty with the riders really enjoying the day. As the riders finished the route, they automatically had their score calculated in the RallyMoto digital roadbook app, with the overall leader board being updated immediately as riders finished.

The final results were close between the top two riders but there was only one “Supreme Yeti” trophy. On the day Liam Lee (KOVE Rally 450) won the day, with Dave Thorpe in second place. Both riders had three points but Liam was 2 minutes and 9 seconds ahead of Dave, so Liam took the honors.

RallyMoto will now be working on the summer version of the Ice Breaker, the Blazing Saddles Challenge and also a tarmac version, the Cannonball Road Rally Challenge. Both these events are scheduled for June, July, August – with both challenges having their own “Rally Off” finales.
