A special 100% roadbook navigation event for road bikes
Date: 28th July 2019
Venue: Trefnant, North Wales
Entry fee: £69.00 (includes Event Licence)
Camping: £10.00 per pitch
The Tour of Clwyd is a new event and a new format for roadbook navigation as it is 100% road based and totally rideable on road tyres.
The event starts in Trefnant, North Wales and takes riders through the back roads of this picturesque and mountainous area. The scenery is fantastic and some of the riding is challenging even though it is a 100% road course. The route will be totally navigated by roadbook in an Adventure Cannonball format so we are able to provide riders with the “hire” RallyMoto roadbook holders.
The route will be split into a Gold route (approx 200km), which is the longer of the two options and a Silver route being slightly shorter (170km).
Riders will have to complete a check card with information from manned and unmanned check points en route.
This is a one day event, Sunday 28th July and camping is available at the start on the Saturday night.
All riders completing the course will receive an achievement award.
