There are only 50 days to go to the start of the 2018 Tour of Portugal Roadbook rally and preparations are well under way with a 100% new course on all three days.  The course is longer than in previous years and also the Rally Pro Class will have an additional stage to ride which will have more technical riding and also more intricate navigation. Day 1, is already at 210km, without the additional 50km loop for the Rally Pro Class. The stage for the Rally Pro class riders will also be near to the hotel on the first day so those coming along will be able to get close to the action and see the riders at speed.
We take in some of the Baja tracks around Gois and Arganil which were part of the Portuguese National Series last year, these are open and flowing tracks which will be a joy to ride and navigate.
We will be checking the roadbook for three days over the weekend and will keep you up to date on how we get on – expect a few little videos. Once the roadbook has been checked we will be good to go and transport information will be sent out once we have all the entries finalised.
Entries for the Tour of Portugal will close on 26th February – we only have a few spaces left as we have nearly 50 entries so far – so be quick if you want to come.
